‘The GPS Market in India should Witness atleast 70% Growth over the Last Year’

We spoke to Gaurav Kaushik, Director, Volty IoT Solutions to understand his organisation’s focus areas in security for the year 2020, which technologies and products they believe are going to be in focus this year, new technology innovations to be expected as part of their security solutions portfolio, how much growth do they expect in the GPS market in India this year and their strategy to further penetrate the Indian security market.

Please tell us about your organisation’s focus areas in security for the year 2020.

We are an IoT Company and our focus remains in building efficient applications in various verticals. Presently we are working in Telematics & Smart Cities.

Which technologies and products you believe are going to be in focus this year?

We are working on IRNSS equipped devices and we are among India's biggest Manufacturer of IRNSS GPS Devices. IRNSS is an independent regional navigation satellite system being developed by India. Our focus for the year would be the AIS 140 product, idea is to be available in all the states across the country.

What new technology innovations can we expect as part of your security solutions portfolio?

On the security front we are looking at a 2-way Dashcam's with specific focus on the trucking industry.  This industry has seen loads of major accidents and we need to see safer roads for the future.

How much growth do you expect in the GPS market in India this year?

The industry has been growing well the last couple of years.  Should see at-least a 70% growth over the last year if not 100%

What is your strategy to further penetrate the Indian security market?

The Indian security devices market is poised for great growth.  Getting affordable innovative products into the market is key.  Our Personal Tracker is one such product where the focus is the school going kids.
